We conduct a focus group once a year to obtain feedback and ideas for improving services and care within our clinic. If you are interested in providing feedback and have not received a survey, please contact our clinic for more information about the focus group or survey. Feedback is summarized and provided back to the clinic staff and owners in order to identify needs and improvements in services and equipment. Feedback, summarized quarterly, is also posted on our display board in the facility waiting area. If you have any questions regarding our physiotherapy services, please email Carson.Lai@kos.net

What is Physiotherapy?
It is a first contact, autonomous, client-focused health profession dedicated to:
Who is a Physiotherapist?
Physiotherapists are university-educated experts who can help you achieve your highest level of physical functioning (at any stage of life) by providing you with a personalized treatment plan based on your specific needs.
When you see a registered physiotherapist, you can expect to receive top quality care from a qualified health professional. That's because every physiotherapist in the province must meet the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario's high standards for professional conduct and practice. They set rules and develop programs to ensure that members of the physiotherapy profession practice in your best interests.
Accreditation of a physiotherapy program and what it means!
By achieving accreditation, Limestone Health Consultants Inc. has demonstrated its commitment to ongoing quality improvement and person-centered services. Limestone has demonstrated conformance to the internationally accepted standards of care as set out by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
In February of 2007, Limestone underwent a rigorous accreditation review by CARF and in April 2007 was successful in receiving a 3 year accreditation for our general occupational rehabilitation program for adults.

Assistive Devices Program for Mobility Equipments (ADP)
The objective of the Assistive Devices Program (ADP), a provinical government program, is to provide consumer centered support and funding to Ontario residents who have long-term physical disabilities and to provide access to personalized assistive devices appropriate for the individual’s basic needs.
Devices covered by the program are intended to enable people with physical disabilities to increase their independence through access to assistive devices responsive to their individual needs.
Selected wheeled walkers, forearm crutches, manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, paediatric standing frames, and specialized positioning supports for wheelchairs (e.g. seat cushions and back supports).
ADP contributes only to the cost of the most basic equipment that is required for ongoing daily mobility as defined by ADP for funding purposes.
Funding assistance is not available to purchase equipment required for occasional use, to be used solely to travel to and from destinations, used only at school or work, for use in an exercise program, or for social, sports and recreational purposes.
